My Story

20250421_134732_edited_edited_edited_edi

If we were sitting together over a lukewarm coffee (because… life), I’d tell you this first: I see you.
Not in a polite, surface-level way — but in the I’ve lived this way.

I’m Lauren — wife, mum of three, coffee lover, unapologetic book hoarder, and once a woman who looked put-together on the outside while feeling completely overwhelmed on the inside.

Our family has walked through a lot: deep loss, moving countries, depression, illness, tight finances, and the beautiful chaos of a multicultural life. Life has been rich and meaningful — and at times, heavy and relentless. Responsibility was constant, and I was often the one holding things together.

Everything shifted for me in early 2024 when I received a cancer diagnosis.

Eighteen months of treatment — including cold UVB sessions where I stood alone in silence with red glasses and far too much time to think — became an unexpected pause that brought everything to the surface.

That season slowed me down in ways I hadn’t chosen — and couldn’t avoid. It gave me space to notice how deeply I had been surviving rather than living.

I was overwhelmed, juggling more responsibility than my body and mind could sustain — none of which could be dropped. I was exhausted, depleted, and running on empty. No energy. No joy. Just pushing through and hoping for relief. I longed for space to breathe and a life that felt steadier and more intentional.

And maybe that’s where you find yourself too — overwhelmed, stretched thin, quietly longing for a calmer way to live, but too exhausted to know where to begin.

I understand, because I started there.

My healing began with micro-habits — small, sustainable shifts in sleep, nourishment, movement, mindset, and reducing toxic load. Nothing extreme. No rigid routines. Just gentle, realistic changes that slowly rebuilt my energy, steadied my nervous system, and helped me feel like myself again.

Today, drawing on both lived experience and professional training,

I support overwhelmed women — often mothers in high-responsibility seasons — to do the same. Through group coaching, workshops, and teaching, I help women restore energy, reduce overwhelm, and create simple, sustainable rhythms that work within real life.

Most of my work is offered online, supporting women across the UK, Europe, and South Africa in building calm, capacity, and steadiness in the middle of full, demanding lives.

You don’t need a crisis like mine to begin.
You just need a place to start — and someone who truly understands.

I’m so glad you’re here.
